Joan was the most kind hearted person anyone can know, she always put others before herself! She gave us children the best childhood a mother could give, until 1989 when she got very sick and we were taken from her. The pain that brought upon her lead her to find ways to numb herself leading her down a long dark road. In 2000 she started getting her stuff and life back together, we started building the best friendship a mother and daughter could have. She still struggled with her illness but tried very hard to make up for list times! She did an amazing job doing that!
