To try and describe Joannie in just a few paragraphs is impossible. We hope everyone will share stories and tributes so we can all keep her love alive and share our past times.

She was one of the most loving and giving people to ever live. Her whole life was about doing for others. Never once did she put herself first, her family and friends meant more to her than anything in the world and seeing them happy was purely enough for her.

She shared just over 40 years with her husband Lawrence. They set a perfect example for how a marriage should be. Their love continued to grow and blossom throughout their life and touched the lives of many. The special bond they shared is still alive and evident in Lawrence as his eternal and undying love for her is evident in every thing he continues to do and the way he lives his life in her honor.

Her daughter, Kathleen, tries to live life in her image, having been lucky enough to grow up with such a wonderful example of how to be a daugther, woman, wife and mother. They were not only mother and daughter, but best friends. Before she passed she had the pleasure of getting to know and spend a lot of time with her wonderful son-in-law Keith who she loved dearly and also loved her like a mother. 

I am sure everyone who had the pleasure of spending time with her knows how amazing her cooking was, her deep love of God and how patriotic she was.

We know she is up there looking down on all of us everyday protecting and loving as she always did.

Joan, you truly were one of the most amazing women to walk this earth, you will always be missed, never forgotten, and your spirit will remain in the hearts of many forever.
