My earliest memory of Joan begins with many of thousand trips she made dropping and picking us up from many activities and "hang-outs". She welcomed me as one of her own children. Her kind compassionate nature has filled our hearts and given us vivid memories to cherish until we meet again. God Bless you.

I always felt a connection with Aunt Joan & our mutual love of animals. The picture of Tennessee brought back so many memories of him, Gypsy and
Danny boy. I used to walk over to the barn and visit with Aunt Joan and Mary Lou while they were taking care of the horses. One day I got to ride Tennessee in the pasture. Something spooked him and he took off running. I just held on dodging a couple tree branches. Somehow Aunt Joan got in front of him waving her arms and yelling and getting him to slow down. Afterward she told me how good I did staying on all that time. She was my hero that day. I love her. ❤️
She will be forever missed.

Joan was the most loving person I've ever met. I was honored to have her in my life. She will always be remembered. I've learned a lot from her, and she always had open arms for everyone. God had decided it was her time to fly, waiting above was her mother and father ready to welcome her home. I will forever remember Joan Marie Cancel.

As a younger cousin living next door, I looked up to Joan and appreciated how she would share her love of horses with me. She was a wonderful Aunt and friend. 
Joan's family was always her first priority and was loved by all. Bob and I will miss her dearly. She is in our prayers.

In memory of a life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved, May you rest in peace with all the angels up above pain free surrounded by your loved ones and a farm full of pets. God has an extra special angel above who will be missed by all, but never forgotten.
