It's been 2 years and the only way I make your memory count is by appreciating all the years you gave me. I couldn't ask for a better mother. I'm glad we were friends. I see you in the smiles of my children and grandchildren and I know we are all keeping you very busy looking out for us. Thank you for dedicating your life to making sure I did not go without. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for all of the unsolicited advice and for your dressing recipe. Thank you. I miss you. Your absence doesn't go unnoticed.

Viki words can’t express my deepest sympathy for you and your family at this time of loss. I enjoyed you sharing special memories of Joann with me. May such memories continue to live on and bring you comfort . When you shared those memories it put a smile on your face and brought forth laughter for us both.♥️Although I never meant Joann personally she and I have a very special bond she’s my Spiritual Sister we both share the same faith♥️Your family will be in my prayers.♥️

JoAnne, the kindest person that I’ve ever met. Funny, beautiful and giving. Rest in Heaven Beloved. We had so much fun with you at Uncle Joe’s house.

I’ve never met anyone quite like Joann. She had this inimitable personality and a kindness and selflessness you don’t see very often. We are all profoundly sadden by the passing of her. But we must somehow find the strength to carry on and be thankful that this generous and gracious woman touched all our lives and left us with the indelible memories we will cherish forever.

Peace is with you now, my beloved departed cousin. Although, we have been separated by time and distance, I still remember your sweet, quiet, peaceful nature. I pray that your soul is welcomed into Paradise, and is among those who are blessed to be in the presence of our Creator. Until we meet again. Love you forever. May your family find peace, comfort and strength during these trying times.

I mostly remember my cousin, JoAnn when she came to Memphis from Chicago to visit her aunt Faye and uncle Calvin. Her smile was ever so bright, which it would illuminate an entire room. She was always so kindhearted, loving, and caring. That’s what I remember the most about her. The news of her passing over the weekend was unbelievably shocking and disheartening to say the least. She looks so much like my mom; it’s incredible the resemblance. Her ever glowing spirit definitely touched my heart. Rest in Heaven sweet angel

I have very fond memories of my cousin. Although we have not been in touch in recent years, the love still remains. I have enjoyed seeing the post on Facebook from her daughter Necole. Praying for the entire family. She will be missed but not forgotten. Bug hugs!
