Sleep on in the bosom of your Lord mama!
June 18, 2020
'Mummy' as I used to call her was an aunt, mother and grandmother to me. I grew up hearing stories about her from her favourite brother(my father), and when I had the opportunity to live with her, she blessed me with stories of 'aburo mi' this and that.
I was told of her hospitality to family and friends, I witnessed and experienced same within the short period of time I stayed with her. She was a God fearing woman who is always happy to see people progressing and succeeding in life and a very good motivator.
She taught me life lessons on how to be a wife, a mother and a friend to peers. Mama taught me to value family whether immediate or extended; and also how to care for them by reaching out to them and reminding them how much they mean to me by simply saying'love you ......'.
Words are not enough to express how much she will be missed because I will definitely miss her smiles, stepping( like a model) and my husband will miss her words of wisdom. I wish she will be here to meet and carry my children when they come, but God knows best.
This is not goodbye because you live on in our hearts.....till we meet to part no more!
