This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joanne Bokor who was born on August 22, 1943 and passed away on January 29, 2011. We will remember her forever.

Mrs. Joanne Bokor, age 67, of Belleville, MI, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011, surrounded by her family, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI.

She was born August 22, 1943, daughter of Francis & Helen (Kotrych) Michalak. She graduated from Cody High School in 1961. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Belleville.

Joanne was an avid reader who liked to play cards and dice games. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, especially colored pencil art and loved the internet and playing computer games. She had a huge heart and was generous to many different charities and people, she even sponsored a boy overseas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife & mother, who always shared a smile with everyone she met. Joanne liked everyone she met and everyone liked her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Francis Joseph Bokor, Jr., and three daughters-Keri Bokor of Milan, MI, Traci Bokor and Linzi Bokor, both of Ypsilanti, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Belleville with a gathering from 11 AM -12 PM. Father Thomas H. Cusick will serve as Celebrant.
