This memorial site was created in the loving memory of our ANGEL, JoAnne (Noel) Brown. She was 53 years young. JoAnne was to us...  a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a cousin and best friend,  She was born in Anniston, AL.  She spend most of her adult life in the city of Detroit Michigan, but the final 3 weeks of her life was spent in the city of Anniston, AL; the city she called "home".

On Saturday morning, February 23, 2013 around 5 am, JoAnne earned her angel wings and moved into her new home in heaven. We love and miss her so much.  Although she is no longer here with us on Earth, we realize she is in far greater place in heaven.  The memories she left us are ours to keep forever and ever.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has laid, you see.
I took His hand when I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found the peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee.
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
