Though I didn't meet daddy in person but the children he raised speaks volume of him. Daddy you raised Godly children, you served God and added value to the lives of those that met you and to us even through your children. Thank you for setting a good example, continue to rest in the bosom of God.

Tribute to Daddy
Daddy, when we met last July at Osogbo, nothing on earth gave me a clue that was going to be our last meeting together. My husband and I marveled at your physical agility and mental alertness which none of your contemporaries can match. We concluded that God must have created you on a special day in a special factory reserved exclusively for the privileged few. It is indeed an honor for me to have befriended your daughter Ndidi, thereby becoming a part of your family. I remember those days in our BQ one room apartment at Enugu, southeast of Nigeria. How you and mama would visit us and begin to share with us salient issues of life. You never frowned at the small 'ofe manu' girl with whom your daughter associated. When it became obvious that she was going to marry one of my brothers, you gladly accepted and jokingly instructed that I must say yes to one of your own. That was you Papa: a true Nigerian in whom there was no guile. Yours is an exemplary life worthy of emulation at the family as well as the national level. I wish you could stay with us longer but alas your time was up. I am so excited that you had a triumphant exit. To me, you did not die, you just took a walk with God. So, till we meet again daddy, let your soul find repose in the bosom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Adieu!

Daddy your sudden exit 2 hours after reassuring me that everything will be okay was shocking, but my greatest joy is that your life on earth was well spent and you left a legacy for us. You passed unto glory to be with the Lord .
Rest in his bosom till we meet again at feet of Jesus to part no more.

with heaviness of heart we sympathise with you on the demise of your father and our inlaw. Its a loss to us all and to all lovers of equity which he stood for. Let us therefore be consoled by the fact that he's gone to enjoy the major essence of our christian faith-HEAVEN at last. Pls accept our sympathy. 4rm Azu and family

Daddy has traveled! You left a very big impression on me on our first meeting during the wedding of your daughter. Well spoken, impeccably dressed in your 3-piece suit with the manners of a British Knight. Our second meeting at Oshogbo was not different, climbing the stairs like a 40yrs old man. You left too soon!!! But your children and legacy are true reflections of a life well spent.

We love you but Jesus loves you more. Sleep and rest in the bossom of your Lord.

Just like a candle in the night...Though I have not met you one on one, I have known you through the life of your daughter. She is a woman of integrity, love and all of everything that has adhered her to me.... These I know she got from none other but her parents. You were a very good father. May your gentle soul continue to rest in glory. May your memory be blessed....

To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. Papa, you have ran your race and has gone to receive the crown that awaits you. I pray for all your family members who are left with this gaping wound, that the Almighty God will console and grant you the fortitude to bear this great loss. Please remember that this isn't good bye, it is "see you later" as we will one day be reunited in the presence of our mighty Lord and Savior. Please take heart and accept our sympathy.
