Joe was one of the kindest souls I have ever come across. That big smile that he always wore not only brightened up my day but made me realize that he had so much life in him. Joe was one of the first and very few members I grew attached to very quickly at my job. He had this effect on people that just made you want to smile because he was always happy. I remember him teaching me his hand shake.haha. That was how we would greet each other when he came in to the gym. I also remember, he would tell me that once spring was here and the weather cleared up, if me and my boyfriend would like to go paddle boating with him and his wife. I was so excited because just like I had a love for adventure, I could see that he did too. He also surprised me at work once with a bowl of chili from Wendy's haha. I thought this was so adorable and its something I still cherish. Such a beautiful and kind spirit, he is. When I heard the news I was devastated. In the short amount of time I knew Joe, he had grown tremendously on me. I am very grateful to have met him. God now has another angel with him. Watch over us Joe. You will be forever missed. Xoxo
