The day we were married at the Barry County Courthouse at 2:00 p.m.  We were with his brother Jeff.  The best man.  And Andie Riever. Maid of honor.
They all had been drinking before the ceremony.  But not me.  I was really nervous.  During the ceremony, my eye kept twiching.  So it looked like I was winking at him.  We were both laughing.  The best day ever !

We went to Brann's to celebrate and Tommy Brann bought us a bottle of champayne.  It was quite the celebration with the whole bar.

We stayed at The Amway Grand for 2 days. Celebration on the Grand was that night.  The fireworks were right outside our window.

On our 1 year annversary I reserved a table at The Cygnus at the top of The Amway Grand and watched the fireworks again from the window.  How cool is that !

That was the day I talked to John at Brann's and asked him if he wanted to go to the 54th Street Bar with me. I had met him before with my friend Andie that knew him.  But that night she was going out to dinner with her boyfriend.  We had a riot.  I, of course, acted like an idiot. He dared me to grab a bowling trophy off a group of people's table.  And I did.  But we were all laughing.  I let them in on the joke. The bar had 3 bars in it.  We ended up dancing in the third bar. I took him back to his truck, which I thought was orange.  Because of the lights in Brann's parking lot and too many cocktails.
I drove by Brann's the next day looking for an orange truck.  But went in and saw him.  We talked and laughed about his truck really being blue.
And that was the night I kissed him and fell in love with him.
