John was born in Simi Valley, California at the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital to Jack Deranian and Judy Pearce Deranian on July 27, 1968. His parents were living in Santa Susana, Ventura County, California at the time of John's birth. John lived there for over a year. His Father Jack was transferred to a job as a BMW mechanic in Compton, California. The family rented and lived on Hopland Street in Norwalk. John attended schools in Norwalk, California but never finished High School. He loved to draw and was quite good at it. I still have some of his drawings. He enjoyed working on cars and learned at a young age by watching his Step-Dad Gregory Thorn, who mainly raised him. John had many life long friends. He also left behind three Brothers, David, Matthew & Gregory who loved their big brother very much. John was never married or had any children that can be verified at this time. John loved to travel and have visited many states including out of the country Mexico and Canada. He used to send me post cards from all over. John passed away January 11, 2012 from complications due to an accidental drug overdose. His ashes remain with his mother. Woods Funeral Home in Norwalk, California handled his cremation arrangements and his good friend Suzan(Sue) Serrano handled his memorial service at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bellflower, California.
