This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, John Urfer, 58 years old, born on May 29, 1953, and passed away on October 4, 2011. We will remember him forever.
Thinking of you tonight on the eve of your birthday. Love you and miss you so much John, sometimes I forget and think I am going to call you and am so sad when it hits me that I can't. Love you brother, happy birthday!!
I love and miss you so much John. I think about you every day and night and all the good times we had together you are forever missed in my life. I look forward to the day were together again.
Our brother was very special and I still can't believe he has passed. Whenever I needed anything I could always count on John to be there for me. Family was so important to John and he is sorely missed by all. Love you and will miss you always.
John loved my homemade tacos and whenever I fixed tacos, I would call John and invite him and he would always say yes. I use to tease him and say he was too easy. Back in the early days it was nothing for John to eat 10 tacos, I think his all time record was 12. No matter how good or bad they were, he would always say, Trud (that was what he called me) those were the best tacos. I loved having John for dinner. I have not made tacos since John has passed. John loved country music and we talked about songs and artists and whatever country show was on tv at the time. If I got a new CD, I would always make a copy for John, he loved Allen Jackson.
