John F. Fry born October 15th, 1965 passed away peacefully on March 20, 2019 with his family by his side at Hospice of Dayton.  

He is survived by his wife Nicole Fry, daughters Rachael Kuhns, Amanda Chilson, Ashley Safranic, and Stacy Musch; His brother Kirk Fry and his wife Marcella; son-in-laws Brad Kuhns, Donnie Chilson, Jeremy Safranic, and Jeremy Musch; along with gradchildren: Destiny, Nathan, Jacob, Sophia, Jordan, Dakota, Paetyn,  Lavada, Landin, Travis, Brooklynn, Owen, and Elijah.  

John embraced and enjoyed every moment he spent with his family. He celebrated 29 years of sobriety and was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He considered his sobriety to be the greatest accomplishment of his life. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family and as he would always say, "Have a great day unless you made other plans".

He is also survived by two other children John Fry and David Fry, 2 Grandchildren Brooklyn and Hunter. His children missed and loved him. R.I.P John

I would see John a lot when he would come up to visit and he would always come to portage thursday night mtg which was my first homegroup . Jack and Bob he would visit with . Over the years he became a friend. His love for the program was awe inspiring always had a smile on his face. I remember thinking he was from Miami Florida lol then i found out were you guys lived lol. Bob and I would always look forward to see him Founders Day weekend ! Bobs last founder John was there and got to sit in the car that leads the motorcade to the cemetery , he stay with Bob during amazing grace!! He will be truly missed !!

John would always make ya laugh. I remember when John helped me get my car out when I was stuck in the snow. He is missed dearly. God bless all of you
