He would often say to me that he had an idea!!  This normally meant that he had a job that he wanted me to do, anything from building a shed to laying paving slabs or painting something........He would supervise me and always comment.....you are doing that like a girl....lol. x

my nanny D had sent him out to get some compost and on his way he saw he car of his dreams, a red jaguar, the car he'd always wanted to buy.... so what did he do??
he bought it right there and then and all my Nanny D said was "go back and get the bloody compost!!"
he never even drove it though..
but that was my grandad, strange funny unique and just pur amazing :')
