John Back, 70, was born in Daly City, California on October 18, 1948 to Vernin John Back and Corine Helen (Colver) Back.  He passed from this life on March 25, 2019.

John worked as a Mechanic for approximately forty years.  After many years of service, he retired from Carl's Tires in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He liked telling jokes and making people laugh. 

John met Lillie Kik in 1980. They were married in 1982 in San Bernardino, California. Lillie and John had no children together, but he loved his step kids (Michael Peace and Sophia Kik) as his own. 

John is survived by Son Shawn Back, Step-son Michael (Bobbi) Peace, Daughter Sophia Kik (Richard Emholtz) of Midwest City, Oklahoma, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by Parents Vernin and Corine Back, Lillie Kik, and grandson Michael Raymond Peace, Jr. 

A private memorial is being held on March 26, 2019.
