John (Jack) Henry Heppner of North Port, Florida, passed away on November 9,2015. He was born March 17, 1939, in Buffalo, New York to Edwin and Hazel Heppner. Jack retired as owner of Heppner Liquors and Arcade Kwik Klean in Arcade, NY. He loved flying, had a small plane pilot license, and co-owned a Cessna 172 Skyhawk. An avid "Duffer," he belonged to Springville Country Club for many years before moving to North Port where he worked and golfed at Sabal Trace. He was a member and past president of Holland Kiwanis and a member of Arcade Kiwanis. He was a former volunteer cook for North Port Meals on Wheels.

Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vivian; daughter Tracy Draper of Elliottville, NY and son Jonathan (Becky) Heppner of Arcade, NY; grandchildren, Lindsey Draper, Michael Draper, Abbey Draper, Grace Heppner, Jack Heppner, and Joshua Slocum; brothers, Edward (Donna) Burau and Ronald (late Sarah) Heppner; sisters, Hazel (Daniel) Berry and Dawn (Michael) Wittenrich; sisters-in-law, Betty Burau and Terry Heppner. He was preceded in death by brothers Richard Burau, Donald Heppner, William Heppner, and Henry Heppner; niece Kim Heppner and nephew Robert Burau.
