John Houston, lovingly known as “Houston” by his loved ones, was a family man. He attended Shiloh and was a member of the Olivet Circle, with his wife, Hilda. Together, he and Hilda celebrated 68 years of marital bliss, traveling and enjoying each other in retirement. In his later years, John’s health declined and he was not able to attend services regularly. Hilda cared for him and until the last day of his life.
