Obituary for John

John E. Inglert Jr., 66, passed away in peace at his home on Friday, January 27th, 2012. John was raised in New Palestine, Indiana, where he graduated from high school in 1963. He and his wife, Therese, lived in Morristown, Indiana for 13 years before moving to Bradenton, Florida in 2004.

In 1994 John retired from the Ford Motor Company as a tool and dye maker. He later retired from the real estate business. John was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 182 and enjoyed participating in the United States Tennis Association and the Palma Sola Bay Yacht Club.

Survivors include his wife, Therese Ritter Inglert; son, Eric (Lisa) Inglert and grandson,

Graham Inglert of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Mark Inglert of Orlando, Florida; mother, Julia

(Gene) Cole of Greenfield, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce (Ed) Lay of Fountaintown, Indiana and Shelly (Greg) Kleiman of Greenfield, Indiana; and extended family. John was preceded in death by his father John E. Inglert Sr. 

 

A celebration of life will be held in Bradenton, Florida on Feb. 11th and again in the spring at the home of Greg and Shelly Kleiman in Greenfield, Indiana.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in John's memory to the American Cancer Society and/or the Humane Society.
