John Robert Laws, 79, a resident of Creedmoor, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Peak Treyburn in Durham.

A native of Eden, NC, retired from self-employed sign company and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving are his wife, Cramer Laws of Townsville, a daughter Debbie Laws of Eden, a son, Johnny Laws of Greensboro, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
