i met john in 2015 when i first moved here we became friends almost instantly. i remember always hanging out with him on his house on valley st in minot. he had this hamster humphrey he would always talk about and show me whenever i would come over. or always our little friend group hanging out at the roosevelt park or under the white bridge close to there. we would all always walk around town and just explore. he really enjoyed the nature he loved science, i remember in high school being in history class with him he was such an intelligent, very loving caring man. i regret and am so mad i didn’t say hi to you when you were working at the clarion at the meet the author event you were just so busy kicking ass like you always would! i will cherish all the memories as we don’t have photos but they will forever play on repeat in my head. there is sooo much more that just won’t fit, i will forever and always think of you when i see the number 33 you loved that number. john forever 24 fly high such a beautiful soul ️

John was an amazing man. He tried his best to make everyone happy but I think he forgot how to make himself happy. He beautiful hair and smile lit up not only the room but this world.

Started out as the young kid next door! When he turned 18 he came to work for me at Dollar Tree as a cashier. I grew to know him very well, learned what an amazing, intelligent, responsible, loyal young man he was. He quickly grew in the company to a part time assistant manager, and then became my Full Time Freight Manager and my right hand man. I was very proud of him. He was a wonderful father. He was very important to me and my husband, in fact some people swore he was my nephew and questioned us constantly! I have to say I loved him like a nephew, but no we weren’t related, just very good friends. Every time I see 33, think of him❤️‍ I remember him being very protective of his mom, brother, and sister.Always concerned with your well-being and how much he missed you all, was torn between Atom and moving back to his family. Forever in our hearts and minds
