John M. Morris passed away April 3rd at the age of 70 in Anacortes, Washington.
John is survived by Nona Engberg the love of his life and soul mate of 27 years.
John is lovingly remembered by his children, daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Donnie Rodriguez, grandchildren Colby and Alec of Cedar Park, Texas. His son, Jonathan Morris, grandchildren Jordan and Logan of Cedar Park, Texas. He is lovingly remembered by Brian, Pamela and Matthew Tweten of Anacortes, Washington as well as many other close family and friends.
John was born in Georgetown, Texas on March 25, 1946 into into a large family with 12 brothers and sisters. He is survided by brothers Travis, Wilburn and Ted Morris, sisters Odessa Sherwood and Linda Van Winkle. He is predeceased by brothers, Doyle, Victor, Jerry, Walter and Dave Morris, sisters Dena Morris and Beverly Duke.
John enjoyed spending time with friends at the Elks Club of Anacortes, building model airplanes, and fishing. John was a welder and crane operator with the refineries for many years. He was a Master Mason and lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Oregon City, Oregon.
