If tears could be a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right to Heaven and bring you home. John, I will remember you and keep all the good and valuable advise that you used to give me.

John Mboroki has been a close friend, family friend and a colleague at the place of work that is The National Treasury, Moyale Sub-County.

We have worked together for many years and he related well with members of staff and clients. Personally he has been an inspiration to my spiritual life and many a times encouraged me when my spirit was down.

John was one of the Pastors of Jesus Winner Ministries Church in Moyale town until when he succumbed to illness briefly borne on the 30th March, 2014 at Chogoria Methodist hospital. He will be laid to rest on 4th April, 2014.

Surely his death reminds me that, we are but tenants…shortly the great Landlord will give us notice that our lease has expired.

However, the holy Bible assures us that those who have died believing in the salvation of Jesus Christ are only asleep and God will resurrect them at the end. In 1Thessalonians 4:16 the word of God says… ‘For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’

On behalf of my family and the Office, I send our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family at this time of mourning the departure of the beloved John Mboroki. I pray God to keep his soul in internal peace – AMEN.

THE CALL OF DUTY

April 2, 2014

Reminiscing with nostalgia one time when call of duty to serve others in the Gospel of Jesus Christ came knocking one morning. Full Gospel primary school, where I am a board official was under attack by forces of darkness. Most of the pupils were hysterical was the report from the head teacher.

I called Pastor John that morning because he was a little bit late to come to the office where we worked together and informed him of the breaking news. When he arrived I told him that we are going to the battle field. I knew he was fasting for weeks and teaming up with other servants I was convinced that the spiritual warfare, it shall be won in Jesus mighty name.

Mchungaji John told me that there was nothing to worry about because we have been called for such. When we arrived at the school, pupils were yelling some lying down everywhere and the whole school was in state of confusion. We started praying over the pupils affected. The school staffroom was converted into a casualty room. We prayed and casted away the demonic spirits affecting the pupils and the school until 12.00 pm.

I saw God mightily using us and pastor John leading the commandos of Jesus Christ.  .
