Happy birthday Pops! We all miss you and love you very much.

When I was a very little girl I lived in Louisburg. My family and the Pernells were very good friends and I loved Betsy and John more than anyone in the whole world besides my Mom and Dad. I have such wonderful memories of them and the farm, of going to see Mammy, and of playing

(Cont) with Johnny and Ellen. I haven't seen them for years but I have never stopped loving them. It breaks my heart to hear about John's passing but I know that My Daddy is there to greet him & that they will have a happy reunion. All my love to Betsy, Johnny & Ellen- Mollie
