"Uncle John....words cannot express how much I missssss you. I think of you often and miss our conversations. Continue to rest in peace Uncle John Robert...I light this candle for you ever listing spirit still present in my heart......love you always."
"Continue to rest my favorite uncle. You were always my favorite you used to take the 3 of us to the store and let us run through there like it was Christmas we could get anything we wanted. You continue to rest in peace and I will continue to Love and miss you dearly."
"My learning about Mitch's passing came as a shock! Although I knew that he had been in ill health, I remained hopeful that he would fully recover.
Mitch and I talked a couple of months ago about meeting for lunch. We did agree to do so, however, Mitch said that he had a couple of more treatments to complete first.
I feel a great sense of loss. One of the many reasons why is that Mitch and I were members of the Bruce Endo & Brian Sisk Chapter of the L.A. Dodgers Fan Club. We would always meet at least once a year at Dodger Stadium. I have lost a wonderful friend and Faye has lost a devoted partner.
A good and caring man has been called to be with the Lord. May his memory make us all smile---often."
"To Mary and family my prayers are with you and your family. Mitch was always a blessings to those that he came in contact with."
"Few people have such a warm, genuine spirit as Mitch. He was always ready and willing to help, and he always made you confident that he would resolve whatever your request was. My prayers go up for the Mitchem family, and I'll say a special prayer for Faye. May God hold you all close in His loving arms, and give you peace and strength during this difficult time. Mitch made a positive, memorable impression on everyone. God rest his soul."
"The world has lost a warm and loving man."
"My thoughts and prayers go out to Faye , Mary, and the rest of Mitch's family. He will be missed."
"Mitch, you were such a wonderful person to work with. You always had a smile and took care of everyone. Thank you for all the years - You are in God's hands now."
"Mitch, it has been a while since I last saw you. However, I just
want to tell you and family that you were one of the nicest
employees that ever worked at the IRS. Whenever I needed your
help to rearrange or change some furniture in any of my offices
over the years, you were always there with a big smile and a great attitude. Thank you
Thank you, Mitch."
"John Robert, you know I always admired you cousin. I used to tell you that you favored Smokey Robinson and you would always laugh. You will be missed but never forgotten. I love you but God loves you more. I will see you again and until then may you rest in peace."
"Another light to help light up the skies, another angel to rest in the Lord. Take your rest cousin John Robert, Take your rest. from your family in Chicago, Cody, Valerie and Doreen Streeter."
"God rest your soul, you are now with the KIng of Kings! You are now relieved and seated with our Lord...no more suffering, no more pain...but I miss you already Uncle!"
