Peaceful rest to my friend John. He was a guy who taught an old dog like me different ways of looking at things. 

He was opinionated and unfiltered endearing qualities in my book. 

I suffered a life altering injury about a year ago and he was the first person to appear at my door to remind me I was still able to come home. 

 We discussed his recent medical information. I had to borrow one of his menthols.
