I’m now a senior in high school. I plan on pursuing a degree in biology at The University of Alabama to become a neurosurgeon. It breaks my heart that you won’t be able to see me walk across the field or even hear my valedictorian/salutatorian speech! There isn’t a day that I don’t think of you! I love and miss you so much!

My uncle
My uncle John Edward will surely be missed. I can remember growing up and coming to Alex City for the summers to stay with my Bigmama. I saw my uncle just about every day. He would come by the house every day. The best memory I have of him is when I told everyone I was going into the Marine Corps. Uncle John Edward teased me, He just thought that was the funniest thing, but I know deep down he was very proud of me. I will surely miss him. Im glad I got to see him a couple of years ago at my Aunt Shawndas wedding. He always had something to laugh about. I love you Uncle, and may you rest in peace.
