John was born on October 13, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA. to Lawrence and Rita Santoro, the first born “prince” of four boys. The family moved to Merchantville, NJ where John was raised, attended Saint Peter’s elementary school, and Bishop Eustace High School. He then went on to Temple University where he studied electrical engineering. During this time, he was an active member of Alpha Phi Delta, a fraternity that would lay the foundation for friendships that would endure his entire lifetime.

He married the love of his life, Joan O’Boyle, in 1964. Theirs was a true love story that lasted over 57 years. The women in his life were numerous as they went on to have three daughters together. His family was his greatest pride and joy. He loved babies and children and made regular donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

John enjoyed a prosperous career in real estate and insurance sales for many years. He had a passion for helping people and could create connections and warm relationships in a moment, which made him a natural talent in the sales world.
