John was born on May 11, 1937 in Erie Penn, to John and Tillie Murnak, he had one sister Joan.  He grew up in Pittsburgh Penn.  John served in the marine corp.           He married Mary Ann Maestas and they have 5 children. John worked in the az mines and for pinal county for years.  John also worked as a counsler for bhaca. John worked hard all his life to give his wife and children a beautiful home and everything they wanted.  John loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart.  John enjoyed bowling and was very good at it. John received several trophys and awards for receiving high score. John also enjoyed watching his boys race motorcross. John was a very proud marine. John was also a steelers fan and enjoyed watching his team play. Anybody that met John Loved him . He was a giant of a man with a heart of gold.
