John Stuart Hooper, Jr. was born in Montgomery, Alabama on May 21, 1989 to John & Kim Hooper. He attended Calvary Christian Academy for elementary, jr. high and most of high school. His athletic ability was evident as he participated in football, basketball and baseball where he developed lifelong friendships with his coaches and team mates at Calvary. Halfway through his Junior year he transferred to Lowndes Academy where he again played football, basketball and baseball for the Rebels. John went on to graduate from Lowndes in 2007 at which point he decided to further his education at Auburn University to earn a degree in Physical Therapy.

John Stuart Hooper, Jr., age 21, a resident of Pike Road, AL. passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Chatham Taunton (Doug Speight); father, John S. Hooper, Sr. (Michelle).; grandparents, Hugh and Delores Chatham, Barbara and Jane Whitely; great-grandmother, Mildred Daughtry; sisters, Brooke and Harley Hooper; brothers, Brock Taunton, Landon and Jake Hooper and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandfather Robert Hooper. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Chatham and Scott Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
