John “Jack” Ridgway Sr, 72, of Pilesgrove New Jersey died suddenly on Sunday while traveling home from his daughter’s home in Austin, Texas. He was visiting his daughter’s family to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary, which was in October. Jack, son of late Tom Ridgway and Ola Mae Lathrop Ridgway, was born in 1946 in Gloucester, New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, and his three children: Kimberly (Marc) Austin, John Jr.(Kelli), and Michael. He is also lovingly survived by three grandchildren, Bailey Austin, Nicholas Ridgway, and Daniel Ridgway, brothers Bob (Ann) Ridgway and Tom (Danette) Ridgway, sisters Linda McKay and Karen Ridgway.

Jack was a retired truck driver after 45 years in the industry. He was also a former volunteer firefighter, member of the Moose Lodge, a baler mechanic at Owen Supply, and honorably discharged from the Navy. His favorite pastime was spending time in his garage, visiting with family and friends, and playing with his “grandpuppies,” Ginger, Rylee, and Abby.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Woodstown Moose Lodge (Bypass Rd, Woodstown, NJ).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org would be deeply appreciated.
