Memories of My Brother Jack
My fondest memories of my bother Jack was the Fishing trip with all seven brother to Brevort Lake in 1986 ! I recall the first pike I ever caught was with my bother Jack at Brevort Lake ( in fact it was the biggest pike during the trip ) . Beside the fishing trip with all my brothers , I remember all the fishing trips I took with my brother after that . It was the one on one talk while in the boat fishing with my brother that I cherished the stories of my father Walter ( Fred ) and other fishing stories from my brother Jack that I listen to with every word he said with Interest . I also cherished going to flea markets with Jack we both had interest in old fishing reels and I received several he sent to me and fishing reel book's I will always keep him in my memories within my heart . Signed his loving brother Chuck or as my brother's called me " Mr Pike "
I MET JACK 42 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS DATING HIS SISTER JOAN, I KNEW THE FIRST TIME I MET HIM THAT HE WAS A GREAT PERSON. WE TALKED ABOUT FISHING AND CARS . HE HAD A CHRYSLER 300, WHICH HE DROVE UNTIL IT DIED, HE THEN HAD THE CAR BURIED IN THE GROUND SO THAT IT WOULD REMAIN WHOLE AND NOT PARTED OUT. JACK AND FAMILY WOULD VISIT DETROIT AND FAMILY, MAYBE EVERY TWO YEARS OR THERE ABOUT, WE WOULD ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR VISITS. WE WILL MISS JACK, BUT KNOWING HIM, I KNOW HE IS WITH GOD AND IN A BETTER PLACE. FRANK MIRUZZI BROTHER -in-LAW
I only have a few memories of my Uncle Jack but my favorite was when my parents and I visited him in Kentucky. One day we went on a tour of the Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson. While we were on the tour of the houseUncle Jack kept telling me interesting facts about the house and President Jackson.
Thanks for the memories, you will be missed.
Love,
Allison Miruzzi (niece)
