Mr. John Will Bailey was born to the parentage of the late Johnny Lee and Willie Vera Gunn Bailey on September 16, 1935 in Chambers County, AL. On Thursday, May 28, 2015, the Lord called him home and he answer obediently.

John Will, “Big Bad” , “Shake A Hand”, accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Liberty CME Church, Cusseta, AL

“Big Bad” was retired from Diversified Products(DP),Opelika, AL with many years of service. After this retirement, he continued to work and was employed by the Community Service Center, Shawmut, AL. He was a hard working individual.

John Will was married to Mary Dorothy McCord Bailey, who preceded him in death.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Tolbert, and Hazel Nellom, two brothers, Edward Lee Bailey, Sr., and Lonnie “Two Gunn” Gunn; a sister-in-law, Marion McCord; one brother-in-law, Bubba McCord.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Bonita Bailey Hicks (Kelvin Morgan), Lanett, AL; one granddaughter, Lanita “Woo”. (Omroy) Williams, Lanett, AL; great grandson, O’Lani A. Williams, Lanett, AL; three sisters-in-law, Annie Thelma Bailey, Lanett, AL; Barbara M. Fulller, Chicago, IL and Vivian McCord, Atlanta, GA a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
