Happy 28th Birthday Jon-Jon!
We just can’t believe you would have been 28 today! You were handsome when you were younger but boy you’d be stealing the hearts of all the girls hearts now if you were still with us.

Me and Aunt Glenda love you and miss you more than you will ever know. I expect you do though because every now and then you show us a sign that you’re around. You told us you were gonna take care of us and this place when we got old. You weren’t supposed to go to heaven before us! We’ve all had to learn to live without you but it hasn’t been easy. You were always like a son to us even though we were just your Aunts. So today for your birthday I’m making you a big ol’ giant steak, fries and a ton corn and of course ketchup and an ice cold Dr. Pepper!

To Our Sweet Jon-Jon,

Little did we know that morning God would call your name. In life we loved you more than you will ever know and in death we will do the same. It tore our hearts to pieces to lose you our sweet boy, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you that day God called you home. You left us such beautiful heartfelt memories and your love is still our guide, and although we cannot see you, you will always be at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one our chain will link again.

So our sweet angel, our gift from God above, we wanted you to know that you are now set free, and wishing so badly that you could be with me. We feel you watching over us with so many special memories tucked deep within our hearts and even though you may be gone, we will never be apart. You are one of God's heavenly angels now a perfect little star, and when you shine the world will see how beautiful you are. May you fly high with your angel wings in an eternity of love and though our hearts are broken, and your life was much too short, we thank you our sweetest angel for the all the happiness you brought.

Jon-Jon was such a sweet young man. Very fond memories of him as my sons fun-loving (skateboarding : ) , song-writing, friend. Cystic Fibrosis plagued his life - but he always kept positive and encouraged others to do so as well.
