Mrs. Johnnie M. Carswell passed away Wednesday at Magnolia Manor Nursing home at the age of 87.She resided at 3745 Ida Drive.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Carswell will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 12 noon at Allen Temple AME Church where Pastor Wayland C. Conner, pastor officiating.
The interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, 3 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The cortege will depart from the funeral home at 11:15 the day of the service.

Mrs. Carswell, from the first day we met face to face you have been the sweetest Mother I've had the opportunity to meet. I knew if my Mom And Sister loved you and my Niece's addored you i would have no doubt that I would love you too. My husband and I will truly miss you and your sweet sprit. To know another Angel has gotten her Wings makes my heart happy so RIP Mrs Carswell.
