WOW...Can't believe it has been 8 years, I miss you. I know that you are in Heaven having a blast. Perfection has been given to you. Thank GOD that I had those last years to really get to know you as not only my grandfather, but as a man of GOD. Thank you for all the long talks over a few cigareetes, that we both didn't need. I LOVE YOU!!!!

My grandfather was a very loving man, I remember as a child walking up and "goosing" him and he would jump :). He was the best I could ask for. I know that he is an angel in HEAVEN watching over us today and until we meet again.

THE NAVY

November 5, 2010

I remember right after PA had his first open heart surgery, we were outside talking.  He told me a story about when he was in the Navy and they were training the men,  they would put a big thing of water in a field with oil on top of the water.  The Navy would set the oil on fire to teach them survival on the ship.  He told me that the soldiers would have to jump into the water that was on fire to show they could make it through that.  I looked at him and told him after all these years I thought he had gone bald because of him getting older, BUT it turns out to be the Navy burned all of his hair off....We laughed for a long time after that.  I will always remember the times we spent together.  I LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!
