Johnny “Benny” Weaver was born on November 20, 1953, son of Mrs. Ozella Virginia Weaver and the late John Lee Weaver. Benny departed life on Friday October 14, 2011.

At an early age, Benny was baptized and became an active member at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, GA. where he served on the Usher Board.

As a young adult, Benny moved to Manchester, GA. where his career started with Meadows Motors and Meadows Ford. He was employed there for 26 years and was promoted Manager of the Service Department. He worked at Photo Circuit in Peachtree City for 5 years and Manager of Shell Oil & Lube in LaGrange, GA for the past 12 years. He married and moved to Woodbury, GA where he remained until he departed this life.

Benny is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Gloria Weaver of Woodbury, Georgia. One daughter, Mrs. Natasha D. Jackson (Chris) & two grandchildren, Chelsea and Chris Jr. of Newnan, GA. One son, Cornelius Weaver of Manchester, GA. His mother Mrs. Ozella V. Weaver; of Albany, GA.; six siblings: Alvin Weaver (Kathy) of San Jose, CA.; Patricia Anne Hooks & Thelma Louise Shedrick (Vincent) of Atlanta, GA.; Willie Weaver (Vester), Roderick Weaver (Phyllis), & Jarvis Weaver all of Albany, GA. A beloved aunt, Mary B. Terry of Manchester, GA. Brothers & Sister in laws: Alma Brown of College Park, GA, Hazel Haynes (Frank) of Woodbury, GA, Gwendolyn Dobbs of Aurora, Ill, Reba Reeves (Willie), Emmitt Owens (Sandra), Curtis Owens (Cynthia), Tracy Jenkins (Stephanie) all of Woodbury, GA. And a host of relatives: aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
