Im writing for my brother John jr who is unable. My father took care of me when I got MS when I was in my early 30s  I am paralyzed from neck down and 56 now. And for all those years he never complained once. He never wanted to see me in nursing home and and he was still taking care of me into his 80s til he got sick. and my brother Mark took over.
      My dad did everything with me took me to shows taught me drums went to all my performances and we could talk about anything.We both loved golf watch it for hours and he always had a smile on his face every morning. And I know it wasn't easy for him especially as he got older. and I will always love him for that,
         The funniest thing I remember is dad waking up every morning and talking to all our pets we had a dog, cat, and bird he would talk to them as if they were people and the bird would talk back to him 
          My dad was the kindest caring soul you could meet and had so much love for all of us

I have many treasured memories of my father. Thanksgiving morning scurrying to prep dinner then out the door to watch my brother play high school football, my swim meets, my brothers band practices. He was at every single event. My fondest memory is of recent year’s, Sunday pizza days, our quiet time. My father was a good man with a strong family & work ethic that he instilled in all of us. He was  devoted to my mother and dedicated to his family. He will be forever in my heart always.
