My grandpa was the kindest, most patient man I have ever met. He and my grandma would babysit me when I was little. Grandpa used to take me outside for hours and let me climb trees in the woods next to my house. He was always at the bottom, ready to catch me if I were to fall. He would take me to the pool in his retirement village for the entire day after I had slept over their houses. He taught me how to play the xylophone and gave me endless amounts of peanuts to feed to his giant parrot. He would wait outside with me to try and see his neighborhood chipmunk "alvin" who frequented his backyard. He was always full of fun and adventures. We made a lot of wonderful memories together and I will miss him dearly.

My fondest memories of Grandpa are when we'd visit at his and Grandmas home in Central Florida. I'd always make him play his vibraphone for me . I knew little about music at the time so I didn't realize how talented of a musician and percussionist he was. It was these experiences along with spending a summer with my Uncle Johnny that inspired me to be the musician I am today .
He always encouraged me and took interest in my musical endeavors along the way . I'll always be forever grateful for his impact on my life .

My Father met my mother with 4 children of her own and soon after John Jr was born. He treated all of us as his own children. He worked at Ciba for 28yrs taught drum lessons on the side and played music on weekends for extra money. We always lived. in a beautiful home, and we never went with out.
I consider John Ogden my real father, that's why I took his last name. Any one can have a child. it takes a real man to raise a child. My dad went to every football game and soccer game for my older brothers. He taught John and I the drums which gave me the incredible gift of music. Recently ,my sister and I remembered the family vacations we took every year and summers at the country club.
John Ogden loved playing golf, playing the drums and was a loving father and husband.
