THANK YOU FAMILY AND FACEBOOK FRIENDS FOR REMEMBERING OUR JON by posting MESSAGES, "LIKES" and PICTURES ON FACEBOOK. Also to everyone who added a new string of messages on his Forever Missed Web page. I believe Jon would send the attached message to all of you and more...... Each day is hard to face without my best friend but the support all of you give me in your own special way makes life without him alittle easier.
Letter from Heaven.......
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes, filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say,
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
And each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too.
When tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right there in your heart !

Today is my Birthday
Today is my birthday
Celebrate my life with you
And remember the good times
Not the bad and
Do not be sad;
Look up towards the sun
And catch every ray of light
Upon your cheek
For I am there with you.
Today is my birthday
Be happy for me
I lived well and full
I had the pleasure of love
and the joy of my children
Do not be sad
Look up towards the stars
And catch each twinkle
In your heart
For I am there with you.
Today is my birthday
My legacy is not wealth
Or mighty belongings
My legacy is you and your life
Spend it wisely and carefully
Guard it always
Do not be sad
Feel the wind on your face
and in your hair
and know that I loved you
For I am there with you in your laughter
And in your hearts.
Today is my birthday
Learn to live again, without me
And stand on your own
Take my strength with you
For you are not alone
Do not be sad
Feel the rain on your face
Feel all life's treasures and
know that you are alive!
At each step of the way
I will help you
For I am with you always
Until we meet again.
Today is my birthday...

First Year Rememberance 2-5-2011
What better way to hold you close and celebrate your life.....In memory of you we held the first "Putt for Jon" tournament. Your special friends and family set the putting course iin true Jon style with lots of "Jon Memorabilia".
The Men's club and many of your Country Club friends dedicated a "Jon's bench" which is placed in front of the green in honor of your support and service to the Rancho Las Palmas Men's Club.
Friends and family (even our Moms putted) and Connor made a HOLE IN ONE. We suspect that you helped sink that putt. The Men's Club BBQ'd in true Jon style with Brauts and Beer. Many memories of you were shared and the day was bitter sweet with only you on our minds. We sent you balloons with lots of heart felt messages, hugs and kisses. We miss you so.....like it was yesterday. So glad you knew you were loved by many. Rest in Peace sweet Jon you are "forever missed"
