This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jonathan Cameron Small 19 years old , born on Monday May 11,1992 and transitioned on Saturday February 11, 2012.

He was the son of Ron Small and Jennifer Kearney.  He is sadly missed by everyone especially his sister Holly. He was the grandson of Rita Small and Joan Kearney. Predeceased by his grandfathers Glen Small, William Kearney and by his uncle Randy. He was a special grandson to Shirley Denton.  Never will he be forgotten by his uncles Steve (Linda), Stan, Rick (Wendy), Bill, Ron (Barb), and cousins Phil, Mat, Victoria, Daniel, Michael, Lisa, Matt, Sarah and Kirk.

Jonathan was gentle, determined, resourceful and a kind young man who would be the first to hold his grandmother's arm as she descended the stairs. He had a big heart and was a very compassionate and loving person.  He enjoyed the outdoors and loved skiing, lacrosse, roller hockey, street hockey and soccer.  He also enjoyed being with his family especially the times spent at Blue Mountain, playing board games and movie nights were his greatest joy.

With great sadness we said goodbye to a loving son, brother and friend.  Your tremendous smile and loving spirit will live in our hearts and memories forever.

May God Bless and keep you safe in his loving embrace until we see you again.  This is not a goodbye...it is a HELLO Jon!

Son, I wish I could wake up and see you standing there.
Then i would know it was just a nightmare.
Son, i remember when you were small and how you would hold my hand, and as you grew older you became my best friend.
Son, I have 20 years of memories that I will treasure and keep safe in my heart. We share a bond that time and distance can never break apart.
Son, oh how my heart ache.
I would love to have you back and never let you go.
Son, where there was happiness,
now there is so much sadness.
Son, how I long to hear your voice and see your beautiful smile.
and have you back for just a little while.
Son, until that day I see you again,
I would look to the sky and search among the stars for my son and best friend.
Love YOU for always,
MOM
