One time, when Gordo was 18 he came to visit my apt. on the beach. he said he was going to the pool and when he came back he told me a long story about how he met a woman who came from out of town who wanted to spread her father's ashes in the middle of the ocean. The problem was that the prices to hire a boat captain to take her were so expensive that she could not afford it. Well Gordo decided he was going to ask my dad if he could take his boat so that this woman could release her father's ashes lol. Well If you know my dad then you know why I'm giggling while I'm repeating this part. After a day or two of Gordo's persistance, my dad finally gave in and helped the woman out. This good deed along with the many others Gordo did is how I will always remember him. He was so selfless! Man I miss him soo much!
