Daniel C. Dacon Jr. better known as Jon Jon was born on May 12, 1987 at Balboa Hospital in San Diego, California to Daniel Alcantara Dacon and Melinda Catimbang Dacon. He was raised in various places but primarily in Okinawa, Japan and San Diego, CA. He attended and graduated from Mount Miguel High School class of 2005. He was an employee at Intertek Pharmaceuticals, Alta Analytical Laboratories.

Jon Jon had many hobbies and often said that he was "good in everything, but not the best in anything". He loved to watch Football and Basketball and was a die-hard fan of the Chargers and Lakers. He also played various sports including, basketball, volleyball, and bowling. On his spare time he often plays video games, the guitar, or reading books.

He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ). He held offices in the Local Congregation of El Cajon, formerly Spring Valley, to include CWS Choir Member, Binhi President, Adult Choir Member, KADIWA Officer, and CWS Overseer. He also held an office as one of the Southern California District KADIWA Officers.

Jon continuously cared for his family and friends and was a very reliable and humble person. He was always willing to do anything and everything for anyone and had the capability to make you feel comfortable with his smile and goofy laugh.

He was a friend, brother, son, and confidant to many. He most specially grew into a mature and faithful man who valued his relationship with God. He will be missed and has finished his race fighting the good fight.
