Jose Gabriel Lujan, age 65 of Escondido, Ca passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born on July 31, 1950 to Gabriel Amador Lujan and Mercedes Ramirez-Lujan in Durango, Mexico. He spent most of his younger years in Zacatecas, Mexico until at the age of fifth-teen decided to leave his home.

Jose eventually made his way to the United States in 1970. He married Ilse Teresa Peinado-Lujan in 1971.

Jose is survived by his wife, Ilse Teresa Lujan; sons, Sergio (spouse-Rosa) Lujan, Steve (spose-Yuri) Lujan, Gabriel (spouse-Trisha) Lujan; daughter, Ilse Lujan-Hayes; grandchildren, Sienna Lujan,21, Adrian Lujan,18, Angela Hayes,17, Adelina Hayes,10, Ava Hayes,8, and Sebastian Lujan,2; sister, Angelica Lujan; niece, Gabriela Dodd.
