Dad- I miss you so much. You don't realize how much you rely on someone until they're gone from your life. Every day, something comes up and I think, "I'll ask Dad," but you're not there with all your knowledge and humor. I learned so much from you without even realizing it, and I wish I had paid more attention. The strangest thing is watching Jaguars games without you- no "Hit 'im!" or "Come up, come up!" And no one to argue with about the bad referee calls. I love you Dad!

Ned & I both remember Ben fondly, and we're saddened by his passing: he was a man of great intellect, kindness, & courage. We value those years we spent together at Episcopal when Ben was headmaster, Ned was assistant headmaster, & I was English dep't chair; we appreciated the resulting friendship & loved getting to know Pat, young Ben, & Catherine. We send our love & heartfelt condolences to all of you during your time of loss.
