ForeverMissed

We are sad to announce that on March, 12, 2021, at the age of 68, Joseph Brangan, Jr., of Wenonah, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, after a four-year battle with colon cancer.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, taking trips on his many boats, fishing and camping.  He was also an avid bowler and looked forward to his Monday night leagues.  Joe enjoyed tinkering with his guitars and anything mechanical that dealt with cars, and he was employed for the past 14 years at Custom Building Products as a third shift mechanic working on repairing machines.  Possibly one of his biggest passions was his love for oldies 50’s and 60’s music that always made him sing along and bring joy to those around him. We'll always remember his delicious cooking, especially around the holidays, and will be dearly missed.

Joe was pre-deceased by his parents, Joe Sr. and mother Isabelle (nee Wicks).  He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Robin (Pye) Brangan, three children, Lori Brangan, Joe Brangan (Michelle), and Kevin Brangan (Candice).  He is also survived by his siblings Sharon “Sissy” Gross, Annette “Cookie” Brangan (Jeff), John Abronsky (Linda), Louis Abronski (Betty), and Edward Abronski, many nieces and nephews.

Joe’s legacy will continue through his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Six of those grandchildren live in Georgia, Michael Wickersham (Victoria), Andrew Wickersham (Ashton), Tyler Wickersham, Eric Wickersham, Brett Wickersham, and Kaden Githens.  Great-grandchildren Gabriel Wickersham and Hailey Wickersham.  Grandson Dillon Brangan resides in Mullica Hill, New Jersey.

Friends and family are invited to a walk-through visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at The Fertig Funeral Home, LLC, 63 North Main Street, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.  There will be a funeral service following from 4:00 to 4:30 at the funeral home and there will be a Zoom provided for those who cannot attend.  The link will be posted on the funeral home website.*  Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
