Rest in peace friend. It has been a lifetime that the Schlueter kids and the Carroll kids have been friends. Those are the friendships that we treasure forever. Each family has lost a brother but I am confident the friendship extends now into heaven just as the friendship of our parents has. Rest in peace Joe, praying for healing hearts for your family left behind.

Difficult to come up with words. Always enjoyed the time with Joe...he smiled a lot and that is possibily one of his greatest features. Love sharing conversation and watching him analyze things.

Joe, you had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. I asked you to teach me, and patiently for a couple of hours one evening, you tried. But I think after I left most of the skin from my arm and leg on the gravel, you were grateful I decided motorcycles weren't for me. Wonderful memories growing up with you. Say hi to your mom and dad. I am sure you will be the angel on a lot of motorcycle riders shoulders. Rest in peace.

We were cousins. Joe, his brother Bobby, my sister Karen and I used to hang out when we were teens. We talked, laughed and made up silly nicknames for each other. I have fond memories of those times. As we grew into adulthood, we all went our separate ways and kind of lost touch with each other. Each of us so busy living life and raising families of our own. Joe you may no longer be on this earth, but you will live on in our hearts and in our memories. I can see you now revving up the motor on your bike as you ride off into the sunset. RIP Cuz.

You are missed here, yet welcomed by those that have gone before you! I will never forget the chance meeting in Kansas or the 4-wheeling trip to Silver Lakes, MI! God bless those closest that are left behind. You will not be forgotten!

Happy that I got to meet you. You came and helped Jim out when his water line needed clearing. That meant alot to Jim. Nice that you loved family enough to help your brother-in-law out. Sorry we didn't travel out to see you guys and for me to get to know you. Jim is a home body and doesn't like to go, but his home was always open to you and Lucy. Rest in peace and know that Lucy and all of your children are in my prayers.
