"Grief never ends, but it changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith... it is the price of love." ~ Author Unknown

I love you dad... and I miss you! We never really got to say good bye, but I know that before too long I will be with you again. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us..." Titus 2:14,15  We have that hope in Christ, that confident trust, that we will one day be together with him in glory. No more sorrow, no more pain. Everything new in Him!

My Hero

You held my hand when I was small
You caught me when I fell
You're the hero of my childhood
And my later years as well.

And every time I think of you
My heart still fills with pride
Though I'll always miss you dad
I know you're by my side.

In laughter and in sorrow
In sunshine and through rain
I know you're watching over me
Until we meet again.
