His Life
June 14, 2022
Joseph DiMaggio was born on January 18, 1946 and came to the US from Sicily in 1956. Joseph met the love of his life, Diane, at age 17 and they were happily married for nearly 53 years and remained always by each other's side. He served his country in the Vietnam war and owned a meat and fish store in NYC for over 50 years. He loved to cook, wood shop, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Diane, daughters, Dina, Maria, and Andria, son-in-laws, Derek, David, and John, and grandchildren, Julia, Evelyn, Bradley, Katie, Jason and Jillian. He is also survived by his brother Salvatore(Frances), sister Sarah(Tony) and brother and sister-in-law Joann and Len.  He is predeceased by his brother Rocco and sister Lilla.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joseph was truly a great man, living by the values of hard work, loyalty, kindness, and treating all with respect. He dedicated his life to his family, friends, and country and was always the first to lend a helping hand in his community. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all.
