Joseph Frank Manginelli passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of Sunday, May 26, 2019. He lived 86 glorious years and was loved dearly by the family he created with his loving wife.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Camille Manginelli, his children and their spouses, Lisa and Chris Rains, Robert and Dawn Manginelli, and Nicole White, his 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, his sister, Rose Marie Lubrino, and his Aunt Johanna Broderick

Joe was born to Rocco and Lena Manginelli on November 1, 1932 in The Bronx, New York. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1950, spent 2 years in the United States Army serving in the Korean War, and then worked in architecture for J.C. Penney for 39 years.

He married his wife Camille on February 8, 1958.  They had 3 wonderful children who were also born in The Bronx. They lived in New York, Georgia, and New Jersey before finally settling in Dallas, Tx in the 1970’s.

In Texas, Joe obtained an Associates Degree from Richland Community College. He was a member and volunteer of several organizations including the Knights of Columbus, The Italian Club of Dallas, and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Joe was a doting husband, dedicated father, engaged grandfather, and proud great-grandfather. He is incredibly loved and will be sorely missed. His funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Friday June 14th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church located at 600 S Jupiter Rd. Richardson, TX 75081. Oh how I miss this MAN. He was such a great person at heart and in reality. I will always remember him as a loving, caring, hard working human being. I Love You Grandpa. See you when it is my time, and I cant wait. Today is no easier than the day you were called to leave to a better place. Merry Christmas Joeseph F. Manginelli

I am so fortunate to have had this wonderful man for my dad. He had the biggest heart and he love life. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was kind to everyone he had contact with. He made you feel welcome and loved. He was the life of the party and the king of dad jokes. He was always happy. I am so going to miss his smile and the twinkle in his eyes while we would sing in the car together. What a blessing you have been to everyone. I love you dad and I am thankful you are at peace and pain free.
