His Life

He was born to the late Nathaniel, Sr. and Lillie Morris Gosha in Phenix City, AL. Mr. Gosha was a 1954 graduate of S. Girard High School and received his Bachelor's degree in 1959 from Benedict College. He obtained his Master's degree from Georgia State University in 1973 and an Educational Specialist degree from Auburn University in 1980. 
An educator for over 40 years, Mr. Gosha taught at S. Girard High School, Columbus Technical College, retiring in 1997 as Principal of the W. H. Spencer High School. He was a member of St. Mary's Road United Methodist Church and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He was preceded in death by nine siblings, Mollie, Mattie, Fibbie, Louise, Lillie, Nathaniel, Robert, Johnny and William.

  Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Joyce Watt Gosha; two daughters, Tonya Blache (Gary) and Alicia Page (Sederick); three grandchildren, Quenton Blache, Jasmine Page and Coleman Page; sisters-in-law, Christine Gosha, Vivian Smith (Joseph), Angela Watt-Johnson; brother-in-law, Tony Watt; a host of loving relatives and friends.
